Father & Son

I wanted to highlight this father and son team because of Ronnie’s  history and both of their personalities. Ronnie Rall, 70 yeas young still is getting his way around the track at high speeds. 5 National Championship titles with several Grand National Championship race wins in his day. Ronnie still shows up at the track to have his self a weekend full of fun & racing motorcycles at 70.  This Hall of Famer daubed his first race at Sunset Rambler in Galion Ohio. What little did he know what life had in store for him. This legend has left a positive stamp in the racing world and was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2001.
Ronnie’s son Chad is a chip off of the block as this 21 year old youngster flies around the track as well. Chad said he has always ridden motorcycles but started competing about 10 years ago. I asked Chad about his goals and if he wanted to be like Dad. His reply was “I want to make a Grand National Main”.
If you’re ever at a Speedway or Flat Track event and you see this Father & Son team, stop over and say hi, ask for an autograph. This down home friendly family never seems to  turn anyone away and is always willing to take the time to talk and autograph photos or shirts.
